SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
This section contains important information pertaining to the operating instructions of the Estelle Remote™, a universal Bluetooth® remote control (hereinafter referred to as “remote”). It also contains information about how to use the remote safely. Read this information carefully before using the remote.

Ensure that children do not play with or handle the remote unsupervised.
Do not use the remote near water or expose it to excessive moisture. Moisture can damage the remote’s electronic components and cause it to malfunction.
Do not disassemble the remote. Disassembling the remote can cause damage to the internal components and void the warranty.
Avoid exposing the remote to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. It can damage the remote's internal components and reduce its lifespan.
Use only the recommended power source. Using the wrong type of power source can damage the remote and cause it to malfunction.
CHARGING & BATTERY
Choose only chargers and accessories approved for use with this model by Estelle AB.
Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and your remote when not in use.
If battery electrolyte leaks out, ensure that the electrolyte does not touch the skin and eyes. When the electrolyte touches the skin or splashes into the eyes, wash the eyes with clean water immediately and consult a doctor.
If the power cable or charger is damaged (for example, the cord is exposed or broken), ot the plug loosens, stop using the cable and/or charger at once. Otherwise, it may lead to an electric shock, a short circuit of the charger or a fire.
Do not touch the charger with wet hands or expose it to water. Otherwise, it may lead to a short circuit and an electric shock to the user.
Your remote should only be connected to products that bear the USB-IF logo or have completed the USB-IF compliance programme.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
The remote is not water-resistant.
Do not use any chemical detergent, powder or other chemical agents (such as alcohol and benzene) to clean your remote. Otherwise, parts of your remote or accessories may be damaged or a fire can be caused.

Hereby, Estelle AB, declares that this remote is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive (2014/30/EU) on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic compatibility, Directive 2014/53/EU on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available on the market of radio equipment and Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Note: This remote may be operated in all member states of the EU, please do however observe the national local regulations in the location where your remote is to be used since this remote may be restricted for use in some or all member states of the European Union (EU).
France: Outdoor use limited to 10 mW e.i.r.p. Within the band 2454- 2483.5 MHz.
Italy: For private use, a general authorisation is required if WAS/RLANs are used outside own premises. For public use, a general authorisation is required.
Luxembourg: General authorisation required for network and service supply.
Norway: This subsection does not apply for the geographical area within a radius of 20 km from the centre of Ny-Ålesund.
ROHS COMPLIANCE
The checkmark symbol with RoHS letters underneath featured on the remote, means that the remote is compliant with the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. This directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in the manufacture of electronic and electrical equipment. The remote does not contain certain hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs).

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on your remote (and any included batteries and other electronic accessories) indicates that they should not be disposed of as normal household rubbish. Do not dispose of your remote and electronic accessories as unsorted municipal waste. Your remote and electronic accessories should be handed over to a certified collection point for recycling or proper disposal at the end of their life.

RADIO FREQUENCY INFORMATION
The remote uses Bluetooth® technology that operates within the frequency range of 2.4-2.4835 GHz and has a maximum output power of 100 milliwatts (mW) or 20 decibel-milliwatts (dBm). This means that the remote uses radio waves to communicate with the device it is paired with, and it operates within the designated frequency range for Bluetooth® devices. The maximum output power of 100 mW (20 dBm) indicates the strength of the signal that the remote control can transmit. The higher the output power, the stronger the signal, which can result in better range and signal quality.
